Job summary

Samotics, based in Leiden, is seeking an Information Security Officer to own our information security end-to-end as we scale. You will implement measures, maintain the ISMS, and prepare for ISO 27001 audits, working with engineers, product managers, and suppliers.

You will lead a security specialist and embed AI-driven practices to protect sensitive operational data. You should bring 3+ years in information security, a relevant degree, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of information security experience or equivalent growth potential
• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science or related field
• Strong communication skills to explain security to engineers and leaders

Responsibilities

• Own information security end-to-end from proposal to implementation.
• Maintain the Information Security Management System and keep it fit for purpose.
• Oversee information security audits, including ISO 27001.
• Drive annual IT audit as part of mandatory financial audit.
• Communicate security goals across the company and provide awareness training.
