Job summary

Samotics B.V. is seeking an Information Security Officer to own our information security end-to-end, develop and maintain the ISMS, and drive audits including ISO 27001. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and external auditors to translate policy into practical security measures and training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of information security experience; open to sharp minds with growth potential.
• A Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or related field.
• Strong communication skills for engineers and leadership; able to turn talks into actions.
• Demonstrable, current use of AI in work with real impact.

Responsibilities

• Own information security end-to-end from proposal through implementation and improvement.
• Maintain and enhance the Information Security Management System (ISMS) as the company grows.
• Oversee security audits, including ISO 27001 audits and annual IT audit.
• Provide clear security goals across the company and deliver awareness training.
• Collaborate across teams to surface improvements and vulnerabilities; verify third-party security.
