Job summary

Soda is hiring a Finance & AI Automation Intern to run core finance processes across three entities (Belgium, US, and Belgium-based NannyML). You will automate workflows using Claude, ChatGPT, and GitHub, with a focus on accuracy and auditable output. The role supports the wider finance team in reporting and ad-hoc projects.

You’ll work in a fully remote-friendly setup, with hybrid options near Amsterdam, and a 3-month contractor path leading to a permanent role for high performers.

Qualifications

• Finance/Accounting/Economics/Business degree or in progress.
• Proven use of AI tools or automation, with a demonstrable output.
• High accuracy; you verify numbers before sign-off.

Responsibilities

• Run core finance processes: invoicing, month-end, payroll data, expenses, intercompany recharges.
• Automate processes using AI tools or spreadsheets; justify tool choice.
• Build checks and reconciliations for automated outputs.
• Document processes so others can follow and audit trails exist.
• Support reporting and analysis for Belgian and US entities.
