Job summary

CM.com is seeking an External Reporting & Technical Accounting Manager to strengthen and modernize financial processes and controls, focusing on external reporting and technical accounting. Translate complex rules into practical guidance and drive AI-driven improvements across the function.

The role blends recurring tasks with project work, offering structure and variety within a global finance organization.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Accountancy or Finance; RA/CPA a plus.
• Several years of ‘big 4 experience’ and a background in Accountancy.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge (Dutch GAAP & IFRS); audits experience a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills; BI tools affinity a plus.
• Professional proficiency in English and Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Applying and implementing IFRS and Dutch GAAP standards, including technical accounting position papers.
• Preparing internal and external financial reports beyond statutory statements (sustainability and remuneration reporting, quarterly press releases).
• Coordinating audits with external auditors domestically and internationally.
• Performing financial analysis and controls during month-end and year-end closings.
• Exploring AI and automation to speed up and strengthen processes.
