Fidamy in Amsterdam is hiring a Claims Handler to manage embedded insurance claims across gadgets, electronics, bicycles, furniture and more. You will handle claims from notification to settlement, review documentation with AI tools, and communicate clearly with customers in English, Dutch or German.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in claims handling or insurance customer service with claims contact.
• Bachelor or higher qualification.
• Understanding of non-life insurance and claims processes.
• Clear, friendly, precise communication in writing and speech.
• Structured and accurate, able to manage many files simultaneously.
• Comfortable using AI tools and modern software daily.
• Fluent English, plus Dutch or German at native or near-native level.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Amsterdam.

Responsibilities

• Handle claims from notification to settlement or declinature within your authority.
• Review documentation and assess claims against policy conditions using AI tools.
• Communicate clearly with customers, by written and phone communication.
• Apply and integrate AI responsibly in daily work.
• Arrange repairs, replacements and payouts with vendors and partners.
• Keep claim records accurate, including reserves and payments.
• Spot signs of fraud or irregularities and escalate them.
• Suggest improvements to processes, templates, AI workflows, or policy conditions.
