Laterite is seeking an AI Developer to join the Analytics team in Amsterdam. You will develop AI-driven applications and software for social impact, collaborating across research and field teams to translate research needs into practical solutions.

The role combines coding, data handling, and deployment, with opportunities to shape projects across Africa and Latin America. Strong Python skills and experience with LLMs are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field (CS, AI, data science, engineering).
• Hands-on Python development and AI application experience are desirable.
• Experience with LLMs, AI frameworks, and modern software tools is valued.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI‑driven applications and software for social impact.
• Collaborate with analytics teams and research partners across countries.
• Build scalable knowledge hubs and AI tools, from front‑end to DevOps.
