Job summary

Robin is a technology leader in tracking and classification of small objects, seeking an AI & Deep Learning Intern to advance radar-based drone and bird detection in real time. You will own a high-impact research track from literature review to implementation and evaluation, within the AI team.

Responsibilities include exploring state-of-the-art techniques, implementing methods in Python/PyTorch, and delivering a software framework with a comparative study.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing MSc in AI, CS, Physics or related technical field.
• Proficiency in Python and hands-on PyTorch experience.
• Strong understanding of neural networks and deep learning concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Step into the fast-growing world of radar technology - where your deep learning research directly shapes how we detect and track drones and birds in real time!

As an AI & Deep Learning Intern, you will immerse yourself in cutting-edge radar tracking and classification research, working alongside our AI team to help build the next generation of intelligent radar systems. You will take ownership of a high-impact research track, from literature review through to implementation and evaluation. This role is part of the AI team.

Responsibilities

• Investigate state-of-the‑art techniques relevant to your chosen research track, which may include Radar Track Clustering, Contrastive Features, Input Channel Adaptation Layer, or Position Estimation.
• Adapt and implement deep learning strategies into our existing Python/PyTorch frameworks.
• Develop metrics and evaluate the quality of uncertainty estimates or classification accuracy.
• Investigate how your research improves downstream radar tasks, such as risk‑aware decision‑making or real‑time drone detection.
• Deliver a documented software framework and a comparative study of methods.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an educational institution, preferably pursuing an MSc in AI, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in Python and hands‑on experience with deep learning frameworks, specifically PyTorch.
• Strong understanding of neural network architectures (e.g., ResNet) and general deep learning concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Flexible and self‑driven, comfortable working in a hybrid environment.
