Job summary

Robin Radar Systems in The Netherlands is seeking a Software Developer to design, build, and maintain C++ software for our radar products. You will join an Agile I&D Software Engineering Team, reporting to the team lead, and help advance mind‑blowing radar technology.

The role requires a BA/MSc in CS, 5+ years in C++ on Linux, knowledge of Qt, PostgreSQL, GoogleTest, and CI tools. You’ll collaborate across departments to improve software quality, performance, and system interfaces.

Qualifications

  • BA/MSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a C++ Software Developer and with current knowledge of (advanced) C++17/20 standards.
  • Extensive experience in developing and deploying software on Linux.
  • Knowledge of multithreaded code, real-time environments and Qt.
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL databases, JSON and XML.
  • Familiarity with low-level hardware interactions.
  • Ability to develop unit tests of code components using GoogleTest.
  • Experience with Bitbucket or similar version control systems, Jira and Qt Creator.
  • Strong understanding of the software development life-cycle and familiarity with continuous integration (Jenkins).
  • Experience with development methodologies like Agile/Scrum.
  • Good communication skills in English, Dutch is a plus.
