Job summary

Robin is a technology leader in tracking and classification of small objects, seeking an AI & Deep Learning Intern to advance radar-based drone and bird detection in real time. You will own a high-impact research track from literature review to implementation and evaluation, within the AI team.

Responsibilities include exploring state-of-the-art techniques, implementing methods in Python/PyTorch, and delivering a software framework with a comparative study.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing MSc in AI, CS, Physics or related technical field.
• Proficiency in Python and hands-on PyTorch experience.
• Strong understanding of neural networks and deep learning concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Investigate state-of-the-art techniques for your research track (Radar Track Clustering, Contrastive Features, Input Channel Adaptation Layer, Position Estimation).
• Adapt and implement deep learning strategies into Python/PyTorch frameworks.
• Develop metrics and evaluate uncertainty estimates and classification accuracy.
• Assess how research improves downstream radar tasks like real-time drone detection.
• Deliver a documented software framework and a comparative study of methods.
