Job summary

1UP Talent is seeking a Senior AI Integration Consultant to define a blueprint for embedding Databricks-hosted AI in legacy credit underwriting workflows. You will deliver an actionable target architecture, integration patterns, and an implementation roadmap, including a first pilot.

You will coordinate across AI development, business, architecture, security, data and application teams to convert journeys into concrete technical designs. Fluency in English is required; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing integration blueprints for embedding AI in enterprise workflows.
• Strong solution-architecture skills covering APIs, event-driven patterns, orchestration, data flows.
• Hands-on Databricks experience for deploying and operationalizing AI/data services.
• Experience integrating LLM services (e.g., Azure OpenAI) into production processes.
• Ability to convert standalone AI solutions into reusable enterprise services with clear interfaces.
• Background in complex workflow or case-management apps; credit underwriting/financial services preferred.
• Solid understanding of security, privacy, access management, auditability and monitoring.

Senior AI Integration Consultant

Location: Eindhoven (commutable within 1.5 hours)

Hours: 38-40 hours per week (full-time employment; freelance not possible)

Role overview

You will define a practical blueprint to integrate Databricks-hosted AI services (primarily OpenAI models) into legacy credit underwriting workflows. Deliverables include an actionable target architecture, integration patterns, an implementation roadmap, and a recommendation for a first integration pilot.

Key responsibilities

• Design integration blueprints for embedding AI services into existing enterprise workflows and legacy applications.
• Produce a pragmatic target-state architecture and transition steps, including dependencies, constraints and implementation priorities.
• Define API-based integration, event-driven patterns, orchestration, authentication, data flows and system dependencies.
• Recommend integration patterns, architecture diagrams and an implementation roadmap for a pilot.
• Work across AI development, business, architecture, security, data and application teams to convert business journeys into implementable technical designs.

Required experience & skills

• Proven experience designing integration blueprints for embedding AI services into enterprise workflows.
• Strong solution architecture skills covering APIs, event-driven patterns, orchestration, authentication, data flows and system dependencies.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks as a platform for deploying and operationalizing AI or data services.
• Practical experience integrating LLM-based services (e.g. Azure OpenAI) into production business processes.
• Experience converting standalone AI solutions into reusable enterprise services with clear interfaces and service boundaries.
• Experience with complex workflow or case-management applications; experience in credit underwriting, financial services, banking or vendor finance is preferred.
• Strong understanding of non-functional enterprise requirements: security, privacy, access management, auditability, monitoring, resilience and scalability.
• Delivery-oriented consulting approach with ability to produce actionable outputs (architecture diagrams, integration patterns, roadmap, pilot recommendations).
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.

Additional requirements

• Must be able to commute to Eindhoven within 1.5 hours.
• During the onboarding period, the role requires full-time presence in the office.
• Employment (not freelance) and full-time availability for the specified hours.
• Pre-employment screening will be conducted if allowed to start.
• Valid proof of identity (passport or identity card) must be available at intake and contract start.

Eisen
