Mistral is hiring an Anti-Corruption & Trade Compliance Legal Counsel to build and operate the corporate compliance framework, focusing on anti‑corruption, sanctions and export controls. You will work closely with Legal, Finance, Procurement, Sales, Security, Product and Engineering to translate legal requirements into auditable processes.

Qualificações

• Master degree in Business Law, Corporate Law, Compliance, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a company, law firm, consulting firm or regulatory authority.
• Substantive exposure to at least two areas: anti-corruption and Sapin II, economic sanctions, and export controls.
• Experience in technology or AI sector is a plus; knowledge of AI is beneficial.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to explain complex topics clearly.
• International mindset; adaptable and willing to continuously learn.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; promote ethical culture.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate Sapin II action plans with policies, controls, training and third‑party procedures.
• Lead due diligence from screening through enhanced due diligence and periodic review.
• Support the code of conduct, whistleblowing framework and training programme.
• Administer gifts, hospitality and conflicts‑of‑interest processes with guidance to teams.
• Define anti‑corruption accounting controls with Finance and Internal Control.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assist anti‑corruption investigations.
• Oversee third‑party screening in due diligence and contracting processes.
• Classify sanctions and export controls for AI models, software, hardware.
• Embed screening and access controls into onboarding, contracting and deployment.
• Draft sanctions/export‑control clauses and coordinate with external counsel.
