You will translate customer needs into concrete AI use cases, build prototypes, and collaborate with engineers to scale pilots into production, ensuring value and adoption across client workflows.
The role blends technical development with customer-facing delivery, requiring strong communication, analytical thinking,
Fluent spoken Dutch is a mandatory requirement for this role. You will work directly with Dutch-speaking customers and lead discovery sessions, workshops, and user training in Dutch.
Nostrion builds independent European AI for organisations that work with sensitive information and operate in regulated markets. We help professionals put their organisation’s knowledge to work while retaining control over their data, processes, and expertise.
Our approach combines European ownership, infrastructure, and governance with open models and a platform developed around the needs of specific professions. We work alongside domain experts to turn their knowledge into practical AI applications.
Fidacta, our solution for the notarial sector, shows what this means in practice. It helps notaries and their teams search private documents, obtain answers grounded in their own information, generate draft documents, and streamline workflows around deeds, files, and correspondence. Confidentiality, traceability, and professional judgement are central to these applications.
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you work where customer needs meet engineering and product development. You spend time with customers, understand how their work actually gets done, and build solutions that can be tested in practice.
You might work with a notarial team to understand how they prepare a deed, identify where information gathering slows them down, and build a prototype that helps them find and use relevant information. You then observe how people use it, measure the results, and work with the engineering team to develop it further.
You own the process from discovery through implementation and adoption. That means asking good questions, assessing the business case, building and testing a solution, and helping users incorporate it into their daily work.
You also help determine which customer needs should become shared product capabilities. Your decisions draw on evidence: user behaviour, measurable value, technical feasibility, and the potential to serve other customers.
You combine technical ability with curiosity about how businesses and people work. You enjoy taking an unclear problem, making sense of it, and building something useful.
Python experience is useful. We also value your ability to understand a process, choose a practical approach, and deliver a solution that people can use.
You work closely with Product, AI Engineers, Platform Engineers, UX/UI, and customer-facing colleagues. You connect customer discovery with technical implementation and help the team understand which problems deserve attention next.
Through products such as Fidacta, you will work alongside specialists who understand the profession. Together, you translate that expertise into software that fits the way people work.
