Job summary

Destinus in the Netherlands is seeking a hands-on mechanical/assembly technician to build and troubleshoot turbojet engines on the production floor. You will follow engineering documentation and safety standards while assembling and testing complex propulsion systems that impact performance and reliability.

You will document measurements, results, and observations, support continuous improvement, and collaborate with engineers to ensure on-time flight readiness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on assembly or testing experience on mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Strong problem‑solving and attention to detail in a high‑precision environment.
• Fluency in Dutch and English for communication on the floor and with teams.
• Ability to lift and handle heavy engine components safely.

Responsibilities

• Assemble turbojet engine components following precise schematics and specs.
• Perform pre-assembly and assembly inspections to ensure quality adherence.
• Document all assembly activities with measurements, results, and observations.
• Maintain safety standards across all assembly procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement to boost efficiency and testing accuracy.
