Job summary

Destinus in the Netherlands seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end aerospace and defense initiatives, translating complex requirements into clear plans and milestones while coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

You will manage budgets, schedules, risks and stakeholder communications, ensuring quality, cost and delivery targets are met in a fast-paced, international environment. Fluent English required; additional languages a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Project Manager in technical/industrial settings.
• Proven ability to plan, execute and deliver complex projects.
• Experience with technical documentation and structured processes.
• Hands-on problem-solving in dynamic environments.
• Fluent in English; other languages a plus.
• Experience in the aerospace/defense sector is a strong plus.
• Background as an aerospace engineer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects end to end from planning through execution and delivery.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams across engineering and operations.
• Translate complex technical requirements into clear project plans and milestones.
• Manage timelines, budgets, risks and dependencies with a pragmatic mindset.
• Drive clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Continuously improve project processes and ways of working.
• Oversee and coordinate technical projects ensuring alignment with quality, cost and delivery objectives.
• Lead logistics and industrialization activities ensuring smooth transition from development to production.
• Coordinate testing, validation and qualification phases ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
• Act as the technical interface with clients managing technical alignment progress and change requests.
• Support tender activities by contributing to technical proposals, cost estimates and response processes.
