Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Program Manager to lead cross-functional teams from launch to production in a fast-paced composites environment. You will manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables while aligning engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to meet customer expectations.

You will serve as the primary customer contact, drive performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to AS 9100 and related guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in program management, ideally within an aerospace manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and their application in manufacturing.
• Experience with AS 9100 or aerospace/defense standards.
• Demonstrated ability to manage customer interaction, including communication, issue resolution, and relationship management.
• Experience driving process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.
• Technical understanding of manufacturing processes in a high-mix/composites environment.
• Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to execute programs from launch through full production, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Oversee timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring alignment across functions.
• Serve as primary customer contact, managing day-to-day communication and expectations.
• Identify and resolve program issues quickly to minimize risk and protect relationships.
• Drive program performance in a high-mix composites environment by coordinating resources.
