Job summary

Protect.ngo invites an intern/young professional to join our Operations Team in The Hague for 6-12 months, 32 hours per week (full-time). You will support day-to-day office operations and help expand our work in the Netherlands and Europe.

This role suits students or recent graduates eager to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of cybersecurity and humanitarian action. Fluent Dutch and English are required.

Qualifications

  • An enrolled student or recent graduate (HBO, Bachelor's or Master’s level) in a relevant field.
  • Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity concepts.
  • Basic understanding of how the Dutch market works.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, written and spoken (level C1).
  • Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Curious, eager to learn, and ready to take initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Operations Team by growing our impact in the Netherlands and in Europe by supporting existing programs and assisting in finding new opportunities.
  • Contribute to project administration and documentation.
  • Help organize meetings, events, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Provide general office support and assist with ad-hoc operational needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across different teams and time zones.

Your Mission

We are seeking a motivated Intern/Young Professional to join our Operations Team in The Hague. This is an excellent opportunity for a student/recent graduate eager to launch their career at the intersection of cybersecurity and humanitarian work. You will support the day-to-day operations of our office while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

Additional Information


  • Requirement: tripartite internship convention/agreement preferred but applicants who finalized their educational program will also be considered

  • Start date: as soon as possible

  • Duration: 6-12 months (flexible, renewable upon review)

  • Working rate: ideally full-time (32 hours per week)

  • Location: The Hague, Netherlands
