Job summary

Luba zoekt een accounts payable medewerker in Leiden voor een lange termijn positie met uitzicht op een vast contract. Je verwerkt inkomende facturen, boekt kosten en btw-codes en bewaakt de betaaltermijnen.

Je bent het aanspreekpunt voor vragen over boekingen en factuurhistorie. Uitgebreide trainingen en flexibele uren maken dit een aantrekkelijke kans in een international finance-omgeving.

Qualifications

• Minimaal een MBO-4 diploma of vergelijkbaar werkniveau.
• 2 tot 5 jaar relevante ervaring als accounts payable of in een finance-afdeling.
• Goede beheersing van Nederlands en Engels, mondeling en schriftelijk.
• Ervaring met MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Verwerken van inkomende facturen en boeken in het financiële systeem.
• Facturen posten op juiste kostenplaatsen en btw-codes.
• Betalingen volgen en tijdig afhandelen.
• Voorbereiden van maandafsluiting en betalingsbestanden.
• Eerste aanspreekpunt voor collega’s bij vragen over boekingen.

Job description

Start as an accounts payable employee in Leiden at an international organization. Work 32-40 hours per week with flexible hours and development opportunities.

Over de vacature:

As an accounts payable employee, you are responsible for the timely and complete processing of incoming invoices within the financial system. You post (cost) invoices to the correct accounts, VAT codes, and cost centers. In addition, you keep an overview and ensure the accounts payable ledger is accurate by analyzing payments and making accounting entries. This position offers you plenty of opportunities to develop yourself further within a centralized European Finance department in a dynamic sector. You will work 32 to 40 hours per week with flexible working hours and have the chance to attend trainings. The position is long-term with the prospect of a permanent contract.

You start your working day by processing incoming invoices and checking the accuracy of the data in the system. Throughout the day, you are the point of contact for colleagues with questions about bookings or historical invoices. You process expense claims, prepare specifications for the monthly closing, and set up payment batches. You monitor the progress of payments and ensure everything is handled on time. Thanks to your analytical skills and critical eye, you make an important contribution to a smooth financial administration.

Wat wij vragen:

• At least mbo 4 diploma or comparable working and thinking level
• 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience as an accounts payable employee or in a finance department
• Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written
• Experience with MS Office
• Available for 32 to 40 hours per week, with flexible working hours
