Zusammenfassung

Mitra SK in the Netherlands is seeking a Finance Controller to manage the general ledger, prepare financial statements, and ensure accurate month- and year-end close processes.

You will coordinate with auditors and tax advisors, handle VAT/GST filings, and drive budgeting and cash management. This role requires 2–3 years of Netherlands accounting experience and strong English communication.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounts/Finance with 2–3 years Netherlands accounting experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and Dutch.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial data analysis.
• Experience with local GAAP/IFRS is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of all financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with local GAAP and IFRS.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Prepare tax returns and VAT filings.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Maintain internal controls and seek process improvements.

• Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of all financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with local GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes.

2. Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, corporate laws, and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
• Handle audits (statutory, internal, tax) and respond to queries from government authorities.

3. Taxation

• Prepare and file corporate income tax, VAT/GST, and withholding tax returns.
• Calculate tax provisions.
• Ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations.

4. Controlling & Analysis

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes for the country.
• Analyze variances and provide commentary on financial performance.
• Track and control operating expenses and capital expenditures.

5. Cash & Treasury Management

• Monitor bank accounts and manage cash flow needs.
• Liaise with banks for treasury operations, forex transactions, and local financing arrangements.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and funding requests.

6. Process Improvement & Internal Controls

• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Ensure adherence to company accounting policies and procedures.
• Suggest and implement process improvements for greater efficiency.

Any other area management will include as per requirement. Need to handle Turkey Branch Accounts also. Flexible and willing to travel to Turkey whenever required
