Job summary

Allianz Benelux is offering a Finance internship in Rotterdam for Bachelor or Master students. You will join a dedicated Insurance Accounting team of eight professionals and gain hands-on experience in project work and accounting processes.

You will reconcile suspense accounts monthly, contribute to improving reconciliations, and assist with the transition to the S/4Hana system. A supportive, international work environment awaits you.

About the team

As part of our dedicated Insurance Accounting Team, you will work alongside 8 skilled professionals responsible for technical accounts and analysis for our insurance companies, including pension funds. You will be based at our Rotterdam office, embedded in a team that is both operationally strong and strategically minded.

What you will work on

Curious to discover some of the activities you could work on?

• Reconciling the suspense accounts on a monthly basis
• Improving the above mentioned reconciliations
• Design the new way of reconciliation with our move to our new Accounting system (S/4Hana)
• Bring improvement ideas on recurring tasks in order to simplify and streamline our processes

And of course, you will be involved in everyday processes and projects to actively participate and contribute to the team's goals. This engagement will accelerate your learning curve and provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the business and our team.
