You are a reliable point of contact for our clients and colleagues. You handle the day-to-day PR, communications and administrative work, so the clients you work for know everything is running smoothly. You're part of an energetic and creative team. Together, you come up with ideas for getting clients into the news, help with smart angles, maintain media relations, advise on social media approaches, and above all, find that extra something to surprise your clients.

Your responsibilities

• Monitor and report on relevant media discussions and client publications
• Create media selections for press lists, so media outlets receive relevant news
• Translate or (re)write and send press releases and articles
• Pitch relevant angles to the media for interviews and articles
• Conduct research to make creative ideas even better
• Help with project coordination, from content creation to media interviews
• Maintain contact with your clients about project progress
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists and editors, prepare media briefings, and build your own network with all relevant journalists until you're on first-name terms
• You're on top of the news and enjoy diving into the papers each morning
• You're incredibly organised and keep an overview of everything you do
• You're strong at networking and building relationships
• You're curious and eager to learn
• You speak and write flawless Dutch and English
• You're a natural organiser and can work well on multiple projects at once
• You know how important deadlines are and can manage them well
• You work precisely, both in your coordinating tasks and when writing or proofreading a text
• Ability to adopt AI tools and technologies to maximise efficiency and effectiveness across daily tasks

Nice to have:

• You've learned the fundamentals of the trade through a course in marketing or communications
• You find technology genuinely interesting and understand that almost every company today is a technology company
• You're tech-savvy enough to work with tools like Slack and Google Workspace
• You know how to use social and digital media effectively to engage with the right audience(s)
