Job description

Netive VMS | Rijswijk, Netherlands | Hybrid, three days in the office
Uncapped commission

You’ve learned the science of sales. Now you want to run the whole experiment.

You’ve been taught how good selling works: qualification, multi-threading, deal strategy, mutual action plans and disciplined pipeline management.

You’ve already proved you can close.

Now you want to apply that craft to more complex deals end to end, with the coaching, pipeline support and earning potential to match.

Netive VMS is also at an inflection point.

The business is moving from SaaS to becoming AI-native. For a smaller software company, that creates an advantage the big vendors cannot always match: speed.

Netive can change the product, proposition and go-to-market without working around layers of legacy technology and process.

For you as a seller, that matters. You have something different to take into enterprise conversations, more ways to challenge established vendors and a commercial story that is still evolving.

You would be joining early enough to help shape how that story gets taken to market.

You close. From the start.

An outbound agency and an AI SDR prospect the ICP account list and book meetings. You take those opportunities from first meeting through to signature.

You’ll also pick the two or three accounts that simply have to be won and prospect those yourself.

The ICP account list, battle cards and MEDDPICC stage collateral already exist. Max wants pipeline running at three to four times target, so you will have structure and opportunity around you without inheriting a completely blank territory.

The same commission plan as the senior sellers

This is the part worth reading twice.

There is no junior rate here.

You earn 12% of booked and invoiced revenue, uncapped, paid monthly for eighteen months after every deal you close, on exactly the same terms as more experienced sellers.

Because it runs for eighteen months, your deals stack. Your second year pays you for your first year’s work as well as your second.

Most companies keep their best commission plan for people who have already made it.

This one does not.

The bit most ads leave out

Think nine to twelve months from first conversation to signature, then longer again before invoicing starts.

You need to be comfortable running a deal over time, keeping momentum and holding your nerve.

The upside is that once a deal starts invoicing, that eighteen-month commission tail means one win can keep paying you long after you closed it.

What you’re selling

Netive VMS is the software large organisations use to manage their external workforce.

It is also the first platform to bring shift scheduling into that world, opening up organisations where much of the workforce does not sit behind a desk. Think facility services, logistics, hospitals and utilities.

That creates new use cases, new conversations and a broader market to go after.

Who you’ll report to

Max.

Ex-Salesforce, ex-SAP Fieldglass, and currently the only direct seller in the business.

He is in the Rijswijk office three days a week and, at the start, he will take you into his sales meetings so you learn the market by watching it rather than reading about it.

Your weekly one-to-one will cover two things: your forecast and deals, then your development.

“I’m a big believer that talent should become better than me.”

This is the start of a direct sales team, not a finished one. Max wants people who help each other rather than a group of competing lone wolves.

You will still carry your own number. You just will not be doing it alone.

What you’ll need

Not five years of experience, and not a background in the VMS market.

What matters is that somebody has taught you to sell properly and that you have already closed business yourself.

You understand qualification, multi-threading and how to move a sales process forward.

Startup or scaleup experience helps, particularly if you have worked somewhere you had to figure things out rather than follow a finished playbook. It is not essential.

One honest filter, though.

If your whole career has been growing existing accounts you inherited at a large vendor, this probably is not your role.

Netive VMS needs someone who can show they have created an opportunity themselves and taken business through to close.

Max would rather back someone earlier in their career with curiosity, ambition and headroom than hire someone with fifteen years of experience and a fixed way of working.

If you want bigger deals, proper coaching and the room to grow into a serious enterprise seller, that is the opportunity.

No agencies please, we've got this one covered.

Please note:

we’re unable to sponsor visas for this role. You'll need existing, unrestricted right to work in the Netherlands (for example Dutch/EU nationality or permanent residency) to be considered.
