Job summary

Appledorn Assisted Living Center South is seeking a Caregiver - Assisted Living to provide direct care and support to residents in accordance with each resident’s Personal Service Plan. The role emphasizes dignity, independence, and a safe living environment. Training is provided and a state background check is required.

Shifts are available: 1st 6am–2:30pm, 2nd 2:00pm–10:30pm, 3rd 10pm–6:30am. Part-time positions may require weekend work and rotating holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs: bathing, grooming, hygiene, toileting, dressing, eating, and socializing
• Support residents in participating in life enrichment activities and events
• Follow resident service plans for level of assistance and support needed
• Observe and report changes in resident condition or needs
• Perform light housekeeping duties: bed making, linen changes, laundry, dusting, trash removal
• Use safe techniques for cleaning chemicals, tools and equipment
• Practice safe and sanitary hygiene at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned to support living center operations

Pay

$15.50-$18.25 per hour

No license is required for this position. We provide training for compassionate individuals who pass the state-required background screening.
