Job summary

Cohu Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer/Senior Engineer (1-Year Contract) to drive a zero-defect mentality across the supplier base and lead improvements. The role involves evaluating supplier performance, coordinating corrective actions, and maintaining audit programs with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, experience with automated machinery, and proficiency in ISO 9001:2015 and quality tools.

Qualifications

• Education in engineering or quality discipline with relevant experience.
• Experience in automated industrial machinery and supplier quality management.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive supplier quality improvements and zero-defect mentality.
• Evaluate supplier performance and formulate corrective actions.
• Lead supplier audits and coordinate with internal teams to close gaps.
• Ensure compliance with SEMI, EC, EN standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support new supplier qualification and NPD processes.
