Job summary

Carsem (M) Sdn. Bhd is seeking a Wire Bond Process Engineer to develop and sustain processes for manufacturing operations, focusing on quality, efficiency, and innovation. The role involves leading a team of engineers and technicians, solving complex process issues, and driving productivity improvements.

You will develop new processes, monitor yields, ensure customer specifications, and implement cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standards across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in JMP for DOE and process analysis.

Responsibilities

• Train, motivate and supervise a team of engineers, technicians or operators to achieve yields, quality and productivity.
• Provide technical support and solutions to process issues.
• Develop and monitor yield, quality, productivity improvement, and cost reduction programs including E/Q lots.
• Develop new processes and source materials/equipment for continuous improvement.
• Review and ensure customer specifications are met.
• Develop or improve process flows and update specifications for changes in production.
• Determine standard UPH, SOP and materials for new equipment/process.
• Improve quality through VOC/VOP/MRB/CAPA and reflect changes in specifications.
