Job summary

LAC GLOBAL BRANDS (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking a customer-focused Nutrition Consultant to provide nutritional guidance and product recommendations to shoppers. You will assist customers, explain promotions, and help them choose the right health and wellness products while upholding store policies.

Requirements include a recognized degree in Nutrition or Food Science, at least 1 year in retail/health foods, strong English communication, and a sales-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Recognized Degree in Nutrition or Food Science & Nutrition.
• Minimum 1-year working experience in a retail or health food company.
• Excellent communication skills with a good command of spoken English.
• Outspoken, strong customer service skills, and a sales-oriented mindset.
• A passion for promoting health and wellbeing.
• Able to work on retail hours (including weekends and public holidays).

Responsibilities

• Providing nutritional consultation and product recommendations to customers
• Attending to customers’ inquiries in a professional manner, helping customers in identifying and purchasing required products
• Maintaining knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices
• Assisting in company activities, i.e., roadshows, exhibitions, expo & etc.
• Any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor from time to time
