Job summary

Gratitude Inc in Balakong, Selangor, Malaysia is seeking a Welding Technician (MIG) to perform welding tasks, read drawings, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

The ideal candidate has MIG welding experience, can interpret welding symbols, and works well in a team while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. The role runs 8:30 AM–6:00 PM with 12-hour shift options.

We offer a full-time position with monthly salary of RM 2,000–RM 2,400, plus transport and attendance allowances.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years direct welding experience, preferably MIG.
• Knowledge of technical drawings and welding symbols.
• Understanding of welding processes and quality requirements.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.
• Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Physically fit to perform required duties.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Responsible, disciplined, and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding according to technical specifications and requirements.
• Read and understand technical drawings and welding symbols.
• Ensure welded components meet required quality and specifications.
• Inspect welding work and identify defects or quality issues.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment safely.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Support production activities and work effectively with team members.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Working Hours

Initial Working Hours: 8:30 AM–6:00 PM

Future Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts

Compensation & Benefits

• Gross Salary: RM 2,000–RM 2,400 per month, including allowance.
