Jora Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Welding Lead to supervise a small team in daily welding and fabrication tasks. The role requires reading basic drawings, ensuring quality, and guiding others on proper welding techniques.

Lead and supervise the welding team in daily welding and fabrication work.
Perform hands-on welding and fabrication work together with the team.
Assign work to welders and monitor daily work progress.
Ensure welding work is completed according to drawings, specifications, and required quality standards.
Check the quality of completed welding work and rectify welding defects when required.
Guide and train workers on proper welding techniques and work procedures.
Ensure welding machines, tools, and equipment are properly used and maintained.
Ensure workers follow safety rules and proper welding safety procedures.
Monitor the usage of welding materials and minimize material wastage.
Coordinate with the supervisor regarding job requirements, work progress, and problems.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
Report any equipment problems, material shortages, quality issues, or work delays to the supervisor.
Perform other welding and fabrication duties as assigned by the management.
Must possess a valid welding certificate / welding qualification.
Minimum 2–3 years of welding experience, preferably with team-leading experience.
Able to perform hands-on welding work and lead a small welding team.
Able to read basic welding drawings and measurements.
Knowledge of welding safety procedures and proper use of welding equipment.
Responsible, hardworking, and able to work independently.
