Job summary

Syarikat Low Kim Chuan Dan Anak-Anak Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Welder to join its team in Telok Panglima Garang, Selangor. The role covers MIG, ARC and gas welding, plus fabrication and maintenance of truck bodies, trailers and metal structures.

1–2 years welding experience and knowledge of welding tools and safety are preferred. A relevant welding certificate is a plus; candidate must be physically fit for a workshop environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years welding experience required or preferred.
• Good knowledge of welding tools, equipment and safety procedures.
• Physically fit for workshop/industrial environment.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Welding & Fabrication: MIG, ARC and gas welding; fabricate and repair truck bodies, trailers, bins and metal structures.
• Read and interpret basic drawings and measurements.
• Equipment maintenance: ensure welding gear is in good condition.
• Safety & Quality: follow PPE rules and maintain welding quality.

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Welder to join our team!

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-

A. Welding & Fabrication

• Perform MIG, ARC and gas welding works as required
• Fabricate, repair and reinforce truck bodies, trailers, bins and metal structures
• Read and interpret basic drawings and measurements

B. Equipment Maintenance

• Repair damaged chassis, brackets, frames and metal
• Perform cutting, grinding and fitting works
• Ensure welding equipment is maintained in good condition

C. Safety & Quality

• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Ensure welding quality meets company standards
• Keep work area clean and organized

D. Reporting

• Report material requirements and equipment defects
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor on workshop-related tasks as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:-

Minimum 1–2 years of welding experience.

Good knowledge of welding tools, equipment and safety procedures.

Physically fit and able to work in a workshop or industrial environment.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Relevant welding certificates/skills certification will be an added advantage.
