Job summary

MAHSA in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Software / Web Developer to design, develop, implement, and maintain our websites, web applications, and CMS platforms. The role involves system analysis, API integration, cybersecurity, database management, and leading web development projects.

Responsibilities include building responsive sites, managing WordPress/WooCommerce, integrating payment gateways, administering databases and hosting, ensuring security and performance, and mentoring junior developers

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, software engineering, or a related field.
2–4 years of software and web application development experience.
Proficient in WordPress CMS and WooCommerce management.
Experience with API integration, payment gateways, hosting, and server administration.
Knowledge of web security and secure coding practices.
Good communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain responsive websites and web applications.
Develop and maintain CMS platforms such as WordPress.
Develop e-commerce websites using WooCommerce.
Integrate third-party APIs including payment gateways.
Design and manage databases such as MySQL and SQL Server.
Administer web servers, hosting, cPanel, SSL, backups, and migrations.
Implement website security best practices.
Gather user requirements, prepare technical documentation, conduct UAT, and provide user support.
Ensure website performance, SEO, and analytics implementation.
Lead development projects and mentor junior developers.
