Job summary

Omnicom Media Asia Pacific is seeking a Web Developer for the APAC Technology Hub in Malaysia. You will build and maintain digital advertising, dynamic creative and web projects for global clients, focusing on DCO production, feed-driven templates, and live data feeds across multiple markets.

You will collaborate with producers, QA and creative counterparts across time zones, ensuring campaigns meet tight deadlines while delivering high-quality HTML creative and banners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of working experience as a developer, ideally in a creative or advertising environment.
• Bachelor's degree, professional certification, or equivalent experience.
• Experience building banners, display ads or HTML creative.
• Comfortable managing structured data in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Able to work to fixed campaign deadlines and manage multiple builds in parallel.

The MBCS MALAYSIA Technology Hub is located in Petaling Jaya, and delivers addressable content and web technology projects across the world. The team has presence in New York, Singapore, London and LATAM.

As a Web Developer in the APAC Technology Hub, you will build and maintain digital advertising, dynamic creative and web projects for global clients. A large part of the role is dynamic creative optimization (DCO) production: building feed-driven display templates, managing live data feeds, and delivering across multiple ad sizes and markets to tight campaign timelines. You will work closely with producers, QA and creative counterparts across time zones.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of working experience as a developer, ideally in a creative or advertising environment
• Bachelor's degree, professional certification, or equivalent experience
• Experience building banners, display ads or HTML creative
• Comfortable managing structured data in Excel and Google Sheets
• Able to work to fixed campaign deadlines and manage multiple builds in parallel

GOOD TO HAVE

• Experience with the Google Marketing Platform (Google Studio / Campaign Manager 360)
• Experience building dynamic creative or DCO templates driven by live data feeds
• Familiarity with animation libraries such as GSAP
• Familiarity with translating design files (e.g. Figma) into production-ready HTML
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects
• Experience with data-driven video automation (e.g. Dataclay Templater in After Effects)
• Comfortable with template-based design platforms (e.g. Canva or similar)
• Experience with programmatic or templated display builds
• General knowledge of frontend frameworks such as Bootstrap
• Experience building or maintaining websites (e.g. WordPress) a plus
• Exposure to NodeJS, PHP, SQL or Firebase
