Worldwide Holdings Berhad is seeking an experienced software architect to lead current and future in-house architecture across applications. You will advise on technology choices, develop modules and database relations, and collaborate with analysts, QA, and other units to streamline projects.

The role emphasizes best practices, system integration testing, and thorough technical documentation, with involvement in upgrades, cloud tool adoption, and user training.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Professional Degree in Software Engineering, IT, CS, Engineering or equivalent.
• Interest or basic awareness in cybersecurity is an advantage.
• Experience in HTML5/CSS, Bootstrap, Tailwind, and building mobile responsive/adaptive applications.
• Significant experience writing and utilizing RESTful API services and performance tuning applications.
• Infrastructure knowledge including Single Sign-On, LDAP and Cloud Infrastructure.
• Knowledge of engineering practices such as refactoring, design patterns, and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with software methodologies (waterfall/agile).
• Strong communication skills with ability to align organizations and build consensus across teams and stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Manage current and future software architecture for all in-house applications and advise on technology selections.
• Develop application modules, programs, and database relations according to design and requirements.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA/test leads, and other units to streamline project phases.
• Strategize and instill best practices on application development using latest technologies.
• Perform system integration testing to ensure smooth module interactions.
• Ensure technical specification documentation is in place.
• Participate in small IT projects such as system upgrades, cloud tool adoption, or user training.
• Leverage AI tools to improve development efficiency, including code assistance, testing support, and documentation generation.
