Job summary

Hong Leong Bank is seeking a proactive sales-oriented professional in Ipoh to solicit deposits, insurance and investment products within regulatory guidelines. You will perform cold calls, generate leads, open accounts, issue debit cards, and maintain customer data while promoting HL Connect and cross-selling related banking products.

The role emphasizes professionalism, adherence to policies, and delivering high-quality service to customers in a sales-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in any field.
• Possessing the following licenses will be an advantage: PCE (Life), PCE (General), CIELI, FIMM/FMUTM, IPPC.
• Good inter-personal and communication skills.
• Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Demonstrating drive, consistency and ownership during the interview process.

Responsibilities

• Solicit customers for Deposits, Insurance and Investment Products within BNMs Responsible Lending Guidelines and other products as required by Management.
• Complete cold calling for related leads and increase acquisition through high lead conversion.
• Source and develop new customer leads through referrals.
• Handle Account Opening process including Debit Card issuance for acquired customers.
• Account maintenance after opening (CASA, FD) to ensure accurate customer information.
• Facilitate HL Connect for new accounts opened to increase penetration.
• Cross selling other banking products to increase customer stickiness with HLB.
• Exhibit high professionalism and comply with internal policies, SOPs and regulatory requirements.
