Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking a seasoned leader to head Wealth Management operations, ensuring high-quality client-focused services with strong controls and regulatory compliance. You will coordinate with business, product, operations, technology, risk, and country teams to deliver outcomes aligned with strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Greater than 11 years of relevant experience in Banking and Financial Services, with at least 80% in Wealth Management processes, especially Trade Settlements.
• Good knowledge of Global Wealth Products/Processes would be an added advantage
• Ability to drive and implement change
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with different stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Translate the Wealth Management and Operations strategy into functional priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Develop and maintain a roadmap that supports growth, resilience, regulatory requirements and technology.
• Ensure end-to-end transaction accuracy, timeliness, and control across operations.
• Maintain effective oversight of reconciliations, investigations, and client requests.
• Establish governance forums to monitor performance, risks, and improvement actions.
• Lead or support transformation, automation, and process improvements in operations.
