Job summary

TERA Data Centers is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee water treatment and supply infrastructure construction in Malaysia. You will manage end-to-end projects, secure permits, liaise with regulators, and coordinate interfaces with upstream stations and contractors.

You will lead schedule development, cost control, and safety compliance, working with industrial park management, utility providers, and local councils.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in civil engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in engineering project management; at least 3 years as a PM.
• Experience in water treatment plants, water supply stations, pumping stations or large pipeline projects is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage water treatment / water supply station construction project end to end from initiation to close-out.
• Lead permit applications and compliance matters including approvals and safety clearances.
• Maintain proactive liaison with state water regulatory bodies and local councils.
• Coordinate technical interfaces with upstream water supply stations and drive connection design and metering installations.
• Facilitate signing of water supply agreements to secure reliable upstream connections.
• Act as external liaison with industrial park management, utility providers, and community.
• Manage site access, temporary utilities, traffic management and environmental protection during construction.
• Develop and update master project schedule and construction plans.
• Monitor quality, enforce site safety, review variations and claims, and control project costs.
• Deliver regular progress reports, coordinate procurement evaluations, and manage contractors and consultants.
