Job summary

CAMEL POWER (M) SDN BHD is seeking a Safety Officer to conduct site inspections, perform risk assessments, and promote a safe work environment in its Kuantan operation. The role involves delivering safety training, investigating incidents, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

You will maintain records, report to management, and collaborate with project managers to embed safety across construction activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Familiar with the operation of waste water equipment, understand regarding the safety production.
• Serious in work, have a high sense of responsibility, and can strictly follow the company rules
• Proactive and committed to promoting a safe work environment

Responsibilities

• Conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards
• Developing and delivering safety training programmes to educate employees on best practices
• Investigating incidents and accidents, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards
• Maintaining detailed records of safety activities and preparing reports for management
• Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to integrate safety into all aspects of construction operations
• Promoting a positive safety culture and encouraging employee participation in safety initiative
• Perform any other duties or special assignments as directed by management.
