Job summary

VIGOR ENGINEERING & TRADING SDN BHD is seeking a dedicated WSH Officer to ensure operations comply with Workplace Safety and Health and Environmental Control regulations in Johor, Malaysia.

You will lead site inspections, follow up on committee findings, assist in incident investigations, organize monthly Safety Committee meetings, and document daily safety inspections to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel.

Qualifications

• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health and Environmental Control regulations and statutory requirements.
• Follow up committee site walk inspection findings for WSH Officer to close reports and assist in incident investigations.
• Document daily checklists and carry out mass toolbox meetings once a week.
• Coordinate with site in-charge to improve worksite safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Ensure supervisors and workers are following safe work procedures.
• Assist WSHO to organize monthly Safety Committee meetings and safety reports.
• Compile all relevant reports and records and perform daily safety inspections.
• Supervise all workers in providing safety measures and procedures as per MOM regulations.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior.
