Job summary

SPX Express in Sabah is seeking a logistics coordinator to supervise daily driver activities, delegate tasks to sorters and drivers, and ensure timely parcel delivery. This role is based in Sandakan and requires a rotational shift pattern.

You will receive inbound parcels, coordinate routes, monitor driver behavior, and support the fleet team lead with training. Strong leadership, communication, and adaptability are essential in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Legally allowed to work in Sabah under state law ( Sabah)
• Candidates based in Sabah are encouraged to apply
• Willing to work on a rotational shift basis
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills required
• Experience in logistics operations preferred
• Familiarity with postcodes, routing and mapping is useful
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to handle ambiguous situations
• Fast learner in a dynamic environment
• Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related disciplines preferred
• Working pattern: 45 hours weekly, Rotational shifts, overtime if required
• Working location: Sandakan, Sabah

• Receive and inbound parcels from the linehaul team
• Coordinate and schedule daily activities with drivers to ensure all delivery activities are carried out in a timely manner
• Monitor driver behavior and ensure a high level of customer service
• Assist the fleet team lead in the deployment and training of new drivers where applicable
• Monitor and report KPI compliance
• Ensure the compliance of safety policies and standard operations procedures for in-hub parcel collection

Requirements
