Job summary

Elite Material (Penang) Sdn Bhd is seeking a warehouse chief to lead staff, drive 6S improvements, and ensure timely shipments. The role focuses on training, process optimization, and equipment management to hit KPIs and sales targets.

You'll coordinate with the China Team, implement robust SOPs, and optimize warehouse layouts for efficiency, accuracy, and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply chain, or its equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in warehousing/ inventory/ logistics chief.
• Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems and/or Inventory system.
• Good understanding of inventory management principles.
• Proficient in speaking and writing Chinese, English, and Malay. Mandarin (verbal and written) will be an advantage and required to work with the China Team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the training, management, and assessment of warehouse staff, plan and implementation of various tasks, and achieve KPIs.
• Improve and enhance 6S management on-site, rational planning of warehouse areas, and efficiency improvement.
• Establish, promote, and continuously improve operating procedures.
• Manage and continuously improve handling equipment, automated storage equipment, PDAs, and other devices.
• Continuously improve warehouse processes, manage and monitor the quality and delivery timelines of shipments, and assist in achieving sales targets.
