Qualifications

Job Overview

This position is responsible for ensuring server rack delivery and maintenance as per company requirement. Safe cargo handling is required, and delivery of service levels must follow company requirements and customer expectations.

Job Responsibilities

• Lay floor protection/handle server rack in a safe manner at the DC for delivery to meet customer requirements and minimize discrepancy.
• Uncrate server rack from crate and comply with all company policy.
• Unscrew and uninstall server rack from crate.
• Install necessary accessories to server rack before pushing the server rack.
• Unbox BBU / Power Whips from original carton to dedicated trolley/cart at BBU room.
• Push BBU dedicated trolley/cart in front of COLO room.
• Install BBU into the server rack.
• Comply with all instructions and written Standard Operation Procedures (SOP).
• Push server rack until final position in COLO room.
• Screw down the rack stabilizer.
• Prepare power tools and necessary equipment for uncrating activity.
• Have certification/qualification from an authorized body to drive/handle forklift.
• Perform housekeeping after delivery is completed.
• Immediately update any incident/accident/breakdown that occurs during journey/transit.
• Conduct regular checks on equipment condition and advise the superior on maintenance and repair work.
• Hold a valid driving license.
• Be able to speak and write in English and Bahasa Melayu.
• Be able to work long hours in an ambient temperature warehouse environment.
• Have knowledge of transport requirements, use of power tools, and forklift and truck specifications in terms of capacity/payload.
