Job summary

A logistics company in Kulai, Malaysia, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee inventory management, staff supervision, and safety compliance. Job description

Inventory Management: Tracking stock, conducting counts, data entry, ensuring accuracy, preventing loss/damage. Stocktaking work. Conduct investigation whereby variances are found.

Operations: Receiving, inspecting, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping goods. Arrange the shipment according to the shipment plan date set by customer service team. Do 5S daily and keep a neat workplace.

Team Supervision: Managing and motivating warehouse staff, scheduling, training, and task delegation.

Safety & Compliance: Implementing safety policies, maintaining a clean environment, risk mitigation, and training on procedures. Train, assist and monitor the team members to ensure jobs are carried out according to WI/SOP.

Reporting: Submitting regular reports on utilization, inventory, and performance.

Process Improvement: Analyzing data, planning improvements, and implementing new technologies.

Equipment: Overseeing warehouse equipment, sometimes operating forklifts or stackers.

Ensure implementation, adherence and participation in Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures by applying to areas of responsibility.

Continuously contribute, develop and implement ideas that improve performance.

Other tasks assigned by the superior.
