Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Warehouse Operator to manage MHE tasks, ensure accuracy, and uphold safety and quality standards in daily warehouse operations. This role involves receiving, put-away, picking, and stock transfers with strict adherence to SOPs.

The candidate will verify SKUs, batch/lot numbers, and quantities, ensure proper labeling and palletization, and report discrepancies to supervisors. Daily inspections and teamwork with drivers and checkers are required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating MHE in a warehouse.
• Ability to perform daily stock checks and counts.
• Follows SOPs and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate MHE safely and efficiently for loading, unloading, put-away, replenishment, picking, and stock transfer activities.
• Perform checking and verification of SKU, description, quantity, batch/lot number, pallet, and product condition.
• Ensure all goods are handled, stored, picked, and moved correctly to prevent damage or loss.
• Verify inbound and outbound goods against the relevant documents, system records, delivery notes, and picking lists.
• Ensure accurate scanning of products, pallets, and locations in the warehouse system where applicable.
• Identify and report any stock discrepancies, shortages, excesses, damages, or system issues to the Supervisor.
• Ensure correct palletization, labelling, staging, and documentation according to customer requirements.
• Conduct daily MHE inspection before operation and immediately report any equipment defects or safety concerns.
• Follow all warehouse SOPs, work instructions, safety procedures, and customer requirements.
• Support stock take, cycle count, inventory reconciliation, and other inventory-related activities.
• Maintain good housekeeping and ensure aisles, staging areas, and working areas are clean and safe.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and comply with all warehouse safety requirements.
• Coordinate with warehouse operators, MHE drivers, checkers, and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, productivity, quality, and service.
• Perform any other warehouse duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
