Job summary

Golden PET Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a Warehouse Storekeeper to receive, inspect, and verify goods against delivery and purchase orders. The role involves safe storage, picking, packing, and issuing materials, and operating a forklift for loading and unloading activities.

The successful candidate will maintain accurate inventory records, conduct stock counts, and assist in audits while ensuring compliance with safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations and maintaining accurate records.
• Ability to follow safety regulations and PPE usage.
• Proactive in reporting faults and stock discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify goods against delivery orders and purchase orders.
• Store materials in designated locations in an organized and safe manner.
• Pick, pack, and issue materials according to requests.
• Operate a forklift to load, unload, transport and stack materials safely.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report faults or maintenance needs.
• Maintain inventory records and update stock movements in the system.
• Conduct periodic stock counts and assist in audits.
• Monitor stock levels and report low stock or discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized and compliant with safety regulations.
• Label and arrange stock for easy identification and retrieval.
• Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
• Report damaged, missing or expired items promptly.
• Comply with company policies and occupational safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
