Job summary

SimoSynergy Sdn Bhd in Selangor is seeking a storekeeper/warehouse assistant with a basic education and a hands-on approach to stock management. The role involves handling stock reception, storage, issuance, and accurate recording of movements to support production needs.

Expect to work in a team while also able to operate independently, with basic computer skills and attention to detail. Training will cover inventory control procedures, safety, and documentation practices to ensure smooth daily

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM/Certificate/Diploma in Warehouse Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in storekeeping, warehouse, or inventory operations.
• Knowledge of inventory control and stock management.
• Ability to update inventory records and use basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Executive in receiving, checking, storing, issuing, and monitoring materials and stocks.
• Check, verify, and record all incoming and outgoing materials, parts, and equipment.
• Ensure delivered materials and parts match the Purchase Order and Delivery Order.
• Receive and properly store incoming materials before issuing to relevant departments.
• Receive the Outgoing Material Form, check stock availability, and arrange timely issuance.
• Record daily material and parts issued to Production and maintain documentation.
• Update and maintain accurate stock records and inform when items reach minimum stock level.
• Support stocktaking activities and report discrepancies, shortages, or losses.
• Maintain records for items with shelf-life and proper storage of inflammable materials.
• Assist in packaging, loading, and unloading of materials and parts.
• Keep storehouse clean, organized, and secure.
• Assist in maintaining records of tools and related equipment.
• Assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies relating to receipts, deliveries, repairs, warranties, and surplus materials.
• Comply with Company policies and Production Management Framework.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store Executive or Management.
