Job summary

MAQO ENGINEERING SDN BHD in Selangor, Malaysia, is looking for a Warehouse Assistant cum Driver to receive, inspect, store and prepare solar panels and BOS materials, operate a forklift, maintain inventory records and deliver to project sites.

You will also support procurement and inventory management, conduct stock checks, and ensure proper storage while collaborating with the Procurement department. This role offers hands-on exposure to renewable energy projects and logistics.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations or inventory handling.
• Proven ability to receive, inspect, and store materials.
• Comfortable operating a forklift (license optional).
• Basic computer literacy (Excel or inventory software).
• Physically fit to lift and move materials.
• Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming solar panels and BOS materials.
• Operate forklift to load/unload and move materials safely.
• Maintain accurate inventory records (stock in/out, levels, discrepancies).
• Prepare and pack materials for delivery to project sites.
• Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts.
• Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization and safety.
• Assist with basic reporting on inventory movement.
• Delivery and collection of materials to project sites with procurement liaison.

Maqo Engineering (Solar EPC) is a renewable energy company. The Warehouse Assistant cum Driver will receive, inspect, store and prepare solar panels and BOS materials, operate a forklift, maintain accurate inventory records, perform deliveries and collections to project sites, and support procurement and inventory management.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming solar panels and BOS materials (inverters, mounting structures, cables, etc.)
• Operate forklift to load/unload and move materials safely within the warehouse
• Maintain accurate inventory records (stock in/out, stock levels, discrepancies)
• Prepare and pack materials for delivery to project sites
• Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts
• Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage to panels and equipment
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
• Assist with basic reporting on inventory movement
• Delivery and collection of materials from project sites
• Working closely with Procurement department for inventories management

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Valid GDL (Goods Driving License) / forklift license (optional)
• Proven experience in warehouse operations or inventory handling
• Comfortable operating a forklift
• Basic computer literacy (Excel or inventory software)
• Physically fit and able to lift/move materials
• Attention to detail and good record-keeping habits
• Solar/EPC industry experience is a plus but not required
