The Warehouse Assistant supports daily operations by ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of automotive components and lifestyle products. You will work closely with the procurement and sales teams to ensure that orders are fulfilled correctly and that high-value inventory is handled with care.

Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Receiving & Verification:
- Unload incoming shipments of imported body kits, wheels, and accessories.
- Inspect items immediately upon arrival for shipping damage, missing parts, or discrepancies against packing lists.
- Stock Management & Organization:
- Organize and label items in the warehouse using specific part numbers or SKU codes.
- Maintain an orderly storage system to ensure high-value items are protected from dust, scratches, or accidental damage.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and stock-takes to reconcile physical inventory with the system records.
- Order Fulfillment & Dispatch:
- Pick and pack orders accurately for walk-in customers, online e-commerce sales, or workshop installations.
- Use appropriate protective packaging (e.g., bubble wrap, custom crating) for fragile automotive parts to ensure safe transit.
- Warehouse Maintenance & Safety:
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, hazard-free, and organized to facilitate efficient movement.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols when moving heavy or oversized items (e.g., bumpers, spoilers).
- Administrative Support:
- Update inventory management software (ERP/POS) in real-time as goods move in and out.
- Prepare Delivery Orders (DO) and shipping labels for local and international couriers.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Minimum SPM qualification; a Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Automotive Engineering is a distinct advantage.
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably within the automotive or retail industry.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Excel/Word) for inventory tracking and experience with Forklift operation is highly preferred and often required for handling heavy pallets.
- Soft Skills: Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Critical for identifying part numbers and ensuring the correct components are shipped to the right client.
- Passion for Cars: A strong interest in the automotive scene helps in understanding product handling and communicating with the team.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and professional communication skills in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
