Job summary

Ekco in Malaysia is seeking a Patch and Vulnerability Management Engineer to manage patching and vulnerability services across multiple customer environments. You will ensure timely deployments, monitor remediation progress, and help reduce security risk through effective vulnerability identification and resolution.

You will work with customers and internal teams to deliver high-quality patching services, investigate deployment issues, analyze findings, and support ongoing security posture

Qualifications

• Experience in patch management and vulnerability management in a MSP/managed services setting.
• Ability to produce clear, customer-facing reports and maintain SLA-driven reporting.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and effective communication with multiple customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage patching and vulnerability management for multiple customers.
• Ensure timely deployment of security patches across environments.
• Generate patching and vulnerability reports for customers.
• Monitor schedules, troubleshoot failures, and take corrective action.
• Conduct regular vulnerability scans and recommend remediation steps.
• Handle inquiries, requests, and escalations related to patching and vulnerabilities.
• Participate in customer calls to discuss security posture and progress.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve security concerns and maintain SLA.
• Maintain accurate documentation and customer records for patching activities.
