Job summary

MindMerge Consulting is seeking a Cyber Threat & Vulnerability (CTV) Analyst in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. The role involves supporting planning, execution, and monitoring of the CT VM program with vulnerability scans and remediation coordination.

You will maintain asset inventories, assist with governance, and contribute to security dashboards and reporting. 1–3 years in IT security and familiarity with Nessus, CrowdStrike, and MDR are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT Security / CyberSecurity or equivalent.
• 1–3 years in IT or Cyber Security, focusing on threat and vulnerability management or SOC.
• Familiarity with vulnerability assessment, patch management, and security monitoring tools.
• Experience with Nessus, CrowdStrike, MDR, Burp Suite or similar tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and deploying the CTVM program.
• Coordinate vulnerability scans and remediation tracking.
• Maintain asset inventories with IT and security teams.
• Support security governance and compliance initiatives.
• Produce dashboards and periodic security reports.
