Job summary

United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd is seeking an Account Strategy Team (AST) Manager/Analyst in Risk Monitoring. The role focuses on proactive portfolio monitoring, governance, and coordination to ensure timely reviews, credit compliance, and effective stakeholder engagement across business units and external agencies.

Responsibilities include tracking exceptions, monitoring overdue reviews, and driving remediation actions while ensuring regulatory adherence and robust management reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of credit risk management and portfolio monitoring.
• Knowledge of banking credit processes, reviews, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving capability.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Monitoring & Governance: Trigger, monitor, and track all Exception Reviews across the assigned portfolio.
• Account Strategy & Risk Monitoring: Monitor accounts for deteriorating credit quality and coordinate remediation actions.
• Stakeholder Management & Coordination: Act as liaison among EE Credit Approvers, EECM, SJPP, AKPK, EE Sales Teams, EE MO.
• Regulatory & Compliance Oversight: Ensure reviews comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Management Reporting & Analytics: Prepare portfolio reports and dashboards for senior management.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to strengthen monitoring processes and drive automation.
