Job summary

2201 United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd is seeking a seasoned risk/compliance professional to support the Head of CAC. The role focuses on operational risk, regulatory adherence, and cross-functional coordination with ORM, CC and IAD teams.

The incumbent will ensure staff training, escalation of risk events, and timely resolution of audit findings while maintaining strong relationships with business units.

Qualifications

• Recognised degree in Banking/Finance/Economics/Business Admin/Accounting.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in banking, especially wholesale loan documentation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Copilot and Power BI/Query.
• Strong delivery mindset and ability to meet timelines.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication with business partners.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate a risk culture on Operational Risk related matters.
• Act as liaison between CAC and ORM, CC, IAD and other risk functions.
• Ensure staff training on rules and procedures for risk areas.
• Assist in closing audit issues raised by Internal Audit and regulators.
