Job summary

2201 United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd is seeking a senior investment product advisor to join our Wealth Management team in Kuala Lumpur. You will drive wealth revenue, provide unbiased product advisory to the Sales team and customers, and help cross-sell investment portfolios with strong regulatory compliance.

Your experience in asset management or treasury will be highly valued. The role requires 6-8 years in investment product advisory, excellent communication, and the ability to work

• 6-8 years of experience in investment product advisory.
• Experience in asset management or treasury preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and investment products like mutual funds, structured products, and treasury products.
• Confident with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Independent, self-motivated with strong sense of urgency.
• Quick learner with good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and drive wealth revenue for Investment Products by assisting on Client Events, Tea Talks, Joint Sales Calls and giving unbiased product briefing to the Sales Team/Customers as and when required.
• Provision of expertise and advisory to Sales Representatives and Customers on wealth related products.
• Cross promote to grow key product portfolios.
• Coaching of Sales Representatives on key features in Investment Products.
• Enhance customer's overall investment experience by providing unbiased specialized expertise/views required in managing wealth related products.
• Understand customer's financial profile and needs to develop investment strategies to address and meets customer's financial goals.
• Adherence to Bank’s internal policies, business processes and regulatory requirements including compliance with related laws/Acts.
